Ⅰ. An Introduction to ZMPC

Zunyi Medical and Pharmaceutical College (ZMPC) is a full-time public higher vocational college which has a history of over 60 years. It is located at the university town of Xinpu District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. With a total investment of RMB 2.3 billion, it covers an area of 213 acres and a building area of 597,900 square meters. There are about 14,000 full-time students and 907 faculty members（among them there are 20 with doctoral degree ，405with master’s degree).

 

As a Model Higher Vocational College, a Quality Higher Vocational College and a High-level Secondary Vocational College Program College in Guizhou province,  ZMPC has  3  affiliated hospitals, 3 non-affiliated hospital, 7 teaching hospitals, and more than 180 off-campus internship and training bases. There are 3 provincial excellent teaching teams, 3 provincial master teachers and 2 provincial master’s studios. The college operates a mixed ownership health care center.

 

The college offers  26  majors,  namely Nursing,  Midwifery, Home Service and Management, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture and Tuina, Rehabilitation Technology of TCM,

Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Beauty Technology, Stomatology, Preventive Medicine,

Public Health Management, Pharmacy, Chinese Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, and

Medical Imaging Technology.

Ⅱ. Applicants

 

Non-Chinese citizens who are in good health and abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China and the regulations of ZMPC are welcomed. Applicants must provide a senior high school

diploma or above and must be under the age of 25.

★ Those who have foreign nationalities at birth are Non-Chinese citizens.  Those who have emigrated from China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and acquired foreign nationalities shall provide proof of being Non-Chinese citizens for more than 4 years (before April 30, 2024), and provide record of actual residence in foreign countries for more than 2 years in the last 4 years

(at least 9 months in a year according to the entry and exit signatures).

Ⅴ. Procedures

(一) . Application Documents

 

1. Application Form for International Students of ZMPC,

 

2. Scholarship Application Form for International Students of ZMPC,

3. Valid personal passport,

 

4. Graduation certificate in foreign language and Chinese translation (content of two versions should be the same ，Chinese version must be notarized),

 

5. Transcripts of all subjects in the national high school graduation examination. (both foreign and Chinese version is needed, content of two versions should be the same ，Chinese version must be

notarized ),

 

6. Curriculum vitae in foreign language and Chinese translation (content of two versions should be

the same, from primary to the application time ),

7. Foreigner physical examination form (within one year validity period, no major diseases or infectious diseases such as AIDS, with signature and suggestion of physician, with official stamp

of hospital),

 

8. Certificate of no criminal record,

 

9. Introduce yourself video (3-5 minutes, in English or Chinese),

 

10. Financial statement ( Self funded students provide a copy of applicants’ bank deposit of over

RMB 15,000),

 

11. Guardianship certification in China (provided by those under 18)

 

Parental authorization letter ( in Chinese and English) ，parents’ identity certificates, guardianship agreement ( in Chinese and English) and identity certificate of the guardian shall be provided, If the guardian is a foreigner who resident in China, a visa valid for more than  1  year shall be

provided (short-term visa shall provide explanatory materials),

 

12.  Recommendation letter of the original school (in Chinese, provided by the transfer students, content should be true and effective with official stamp and telephone number of the contact

person),

 

13. Visa (for those who have entered China),

★The application time is the deadline for calculating age. Passport information should be the

same with other materials. All the signatures should be signed by hand.

(二). Qualification and Admission

 

The college will review the submitted materials and organize online interview, then accept the excellent applicants. The admission notice and Foreign Students Visa Application Form (Form

JW202) will be mailed to applicants 4 weeks in advance of the enrollment date.

 

(三). Visa application

 

Applicants should take admission notice, JW202 form, physical examination record and

passport to a local embassy or consulate to apply for an X visa.

 

(四). Enrollment

 

Enrollment  should  be  done  at  the  School  of International Education of ZMPC according  to

the admission notice.
