Ⅰ. An Introduction to ZMPC
Zunyi Medical and Pharmaceutical College was established in 2006 by Zunyi Health School (founded in 1956) and Zunyi School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guizhou Province (founded in 1986) with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The school has formed a professional layout of "equal emphasis on Chinese and Western medicine, combination of medicine and health care", with 20 majors. 5 National control majors, 2 key majors supported by the Ministry of Education, 4 provincial backbone majors, 2 provincial characteristic majors, 2 provincial high-level professional groups, and 4 provincial demonstration talent training programs.
The school covers an area of 937.06 mu, 624700 square meters (61.43 square meters per student), the total construction area of the school building is 472300 square meters (46.45 square meters per student), and the teaching and scientific research administrative room covers an area of 296800 square meters (29.19 square meters per student). There are 10169 full-time students. There are 670 full-time teachers, with a student-teacher ratio of 15.2: 1, 43.7 teachers with graduate students and above, and 31.0 teachers with senior professional titles. The value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment is 0.149 billion yuan (14700 yuan per student), and the total book resources are 1.436 million books (141 books per student). 1 directly affiliated hospital (Grade III and Grade A), 4 non-directly affiliated hospitals (3 Grade III and Grade A, and 1 Grade III and Grade B).
The school established the International Institute of Education in 2018 and invested 1.3 million yuan in the construction of software and hardware facilities in 2021. It has built multimedia classrooms, multi-functional voice classrooms, online course classrooms, intelligent calligraphy and painting classrooms, comprehensive activity rooms, tea art training room, cultural performance room, "Chinese intangible cultural heritage culture" manual classroom, etc.
According to the ability requirements of the New syllabus of Chinese as a foreign language and the learning practice of international students, we will provide comprehensive Chinese, oral Chinese conversation, four language learning courses, Chinese listening and Chinese reading and writing, and HSK tutoring courses. In order to enhance international students' understanding of China's national conditions, social culture and the conditions of Guizhou Province, a characteristic course of "Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage" is offered. In terms of the construction of the teaching staff, it is equipped with necessary teachers for Chinese and Chinese overview courses, and international student counselors are equipped to be responsible for the daily management of students.
In terms of school management and services, the school's foreign affairs department provides international students with consulting services including foreign-related laws and policies, entry and exit visa procedures, medical insurance, scholarships, etc., and continues to provide accommodation arrangements after enrollment, life guidance, activity counseling and other services.
Ⅱ. Applicants
Non-Chinese citizens who are in good health and abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China and the regulations of ZMPC are welcomed. Applicants must provide a senior high school
diploma or above and must be under the age of 25.
★ Those who have foreign nationalities at birth are Non-Chinese citizens. Those who have emigrated from China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and acquired foreign nationalities shall provide proof of being Non-Chinese citizens for more than 4 years (before April 30, 2025), and provide record of actual residence in foreign countries for more than 2 years in the last 4 years
(at least 9 months in a year according to the entry and exit signatures).

1 . Application Documents
（1）Application Form for International Students of ZMPC,
（2）Scholarship Application Form for International Students of ZMPC,
（3）Valid personal passport,
（4）Graduation certificate in foreign language and Chinese translation (content of two versions should be the same ，Chinese version must be notarized),
（5）Transcripts of all subjects in the national high school graduation examination. (both foreign and Chinese version is needed, content of two versions should be the same ，Chinese version must be
notarized ),
（6）Curriculum vitae in foreign language and Chinese translation (content of two versions should be
the same, from primary to the application time )，
（7）Foreigner physical examination form (within one year validity period, no major diseases or infectious diseases such as AIDS, with signature and suggestion of physician, with official stamp
of hospital),
（8）Certificate of no criminal record,
（9）Introduce yourself video (3-5 minutes, in English or Chinese),
（10）Financial statement ( Self funded students provide a copy of applicants’ bank deposit of over
RMB 15,000),
（11）Recommendation letter of the original school (in Chinese, provided by the transfer students, content should be true and effective with official stamp and telephone number of the contact
person),

★The application time is the deadline for calculating age. Passport information should be the
same with other materials. All the signatures should be signed by hand.

2.Qualification and Admission
The college will review the submitted materials and organize online interview, then accept the excellent applicants. The admission notice and Foreign Students Visa Application Form (Form
JW202) will be mailed to applicants 4 weeks in advance of the enrollment date.
3.Visa application
Applicants should take admission notice, JW202 form,physical examination record and passport to a local embassy or consulate to apply for an X visa.
4. Enrollment
Enrollment should be done at the School of International Education of ZMPC according to the admission notice.

beyond teaching plan will be charged at actual cost.
Ⅶ. Scholarship
Applicants can apply for Guizhou Government Scholarship or Scholarship for International Students of ZMPC. Those with outstanding achievements and good discipline will be given priority. The scholarship level will be adjusted according to performance of students every year.
The college provide on-campus part-time jobs for international students.
Ⅷ. Graduation
Language students will be given graduation certificates of completion after 1 year of study.
